Our complete “concept to completion” metal fabrication service saves our clients valuable time and development costs. We offer short lead times, quick quotations and will manage the production process of any size project from design and prototype through to fabrication and final fit and finish.
Our skilled workforce has experience in – and are able to work with – most materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metal, machined components and sections. We have also manufactured plastic components rubber and wooden components.
Our comprehensive fabrication shop gives us the ability to produce products ranging from the smallest punched and formed steel brackets, steel cabinets and enclosures through to large industrial fabrications such as hoppers and storage tanks. We also have the capability and are CE marked to fabricate structural steel works.
It all starts with a concept or idea, in the form of an architectural drawing, blueprint or even a hand drawn sketch. In consultation with the client KAM Engineering converts this into a detailed fabrication drawing taking all the variables into account, before producing a prototype.
Only when the client is completely happy, and we’ve made comprehensive quality control checks, do we move on to the manufacturing stage.
Our staff are skilled and experienced, and our workshop is fully equipped with the latest tools and machinery.
If your customised metal fabrication products require a specific type of finish or assembly, we have access to specialists we can call on to apply a range of processes.
Some of the metal finishing processes that we offer are galvanising, electro-polishing, hard anodising, wet spraying, powder coating, blacking and various types of blasting.
We can also arrange for any component assembly required, or provide any other professional post-fabrication service that is necessary to complete a project.
This “one stop shop” service saves clients the inconvenience and expense of having to contract with different providers to manage all their requirements.
